SECOND SATURDAYS at Calvert

Join Calvert Green's family of volunteers on the second Saturday of each month from 8-10am as we improve and care for our gardens. We will water, clear, clean, plant, mulch, prune and anything else needed to make sure our gardens are at their best.

This is also a great opportunity to meet you neighbors and help build our Calvert community! Bring your family, hat, gloves and other tools for personal use.

District 1 School Beautiful

On May 24, 2010, District 1 judges came to Calvert for the "School Beautiful" contest we entered this year. We have so many wonderful gardens and murals throughout the school that we really should take a prize!

Thanks to all of our parents and staff that have given many hours of work to our school. This is truly a wonderful community that pulls together to make Calvert supreme. Last month, Calvert was honored by the School Board for our wonderful Calvert Green projects. The board members complimented our community and highlighted the wonderful work done by our parents and staff to make Calvert green and beautiful.
